Confusing, contradictory? Shungite certainly can be at times!
With a quick review for Shungite on major search engines the topic of heavy metals can put people off as they quite rightly are cautionary about their health in the first place, thus these titles on the topic put people off using shungite, and with the condescending viral videos falsely causing alarm which are made by people not understanding the inherent nature of the mysterious minerolides make up not being able to leach heavy metals into water at all, its very much needed to put the record straight.
Whist Anna kuzminchuk writes about Shungite incorrectly in many ways which i comment on later, when referring to the composition of Shungite with regards to ‘heavy metals’ she is perfectly correct:
‘There is a wide range of heavy metals in this table. Most of these substances are in insoluble form and will not be released into the water, and the concentrations of others are so low that they will not cause harm.’
Anna does however miss the powerful anti-bacterial action Shungite has, as the Shungite energy disrupts the membrane of bacteria, and this is why she is incorrect in her comments regarding water having potentially harmful bacteria propagating in water that’s left to stand for 3-5 days at a time with the stones.
